Reviews & Discussion:

The stonebridge mix is in a class of its own. It has to be one of stonebridges most unknown / underated tracks they have ever made.

The tune has a BIG kick drum which carry the tune so well , but the Korg organ and Tiffany's vocal make this tune so warm. Its not a song which is gonna blow up Dance floor just something to sit back listen and enjoy. My Fav tune of all time ;0)

Seem to be very hard to find these days on Vinyl. I have came across one which was my own since then have seen people pay at least £30+ on ebay / other sites.

This track is a true all time Birmingham classics / anthem. Even to this day can be heard on a regular basis been played and still getting great reactions on the dance floor. The Nicholson Mix provides a great uplifting catchy riff / vocal what makes the tune a absolute slammer. The tune has been around since the mid 90s but still has something fresh about it.
This Handbag House track strangely gets played in Speed garage / Bassline House clubs / mixed CDs . Still to this day.

I am writing this review from my own Pearsonal view on the tracks I have worked on to make a more clear picture of my work.

My first 3 releases on ecko reocrds was engineered by Funkagenda. I spent many studio sessions perfecting my own ideas into these early releases.

My insperation on the early tracks was all taken from my own pearsonal record collection and are as follows.

Ecko 11 - Bad Habit / Hip Hopping

Hip Hopping vocal was taken from Crisp and Chewy's Hip Hopping a pearsonal Fav Record of mine, Bad Habit had a Sample taken from a old Hardcore Melody but was more known to me from Trotters Vol 1 - Without your love, Vocal ATFC - Bad Habbit

Ecko 13 - One in a million / Do you feel me

One in a million sampled the riff from Paul Caveri - Orange Groove EP. Do you Feel Me had samples taken from Mrs Roy - Volume 1 , Stone Cold Classic (old break beat garage track) and the vocal Victor Simonelli - Do you Feel me

Ecko Ltd 006 - Ladies / Fucked up Friday Funk

Ladies sampled Epitome Of Hype - ladies with an attitude. While the flip side sampled Itty Bitty Boozy Woozy & Greatski's Pumped up funk as well as Lisa Moorish - Mr Friday Night.

Ecko 025 - Out of my Mind / Wants you Back

Out of my mind vocal was Bel Biv Devoe - Poison. and Wants you back was orginaly song by Emma Warren.

This track was engineered with Chris Lawrence of Dub Melita.

In the Early Bassline House days (2002) also known as the rebirth of Speed garage Agros Dj's Produced a string of great Hits.

The Fusion of Bouncy Hard House with Tuff Basslines made agros Djs such a great production team. There Also was a lighter more housey side (Savaged , Emotion etc) which also was massive anthems in the Bassline House World.

A Unique Production team whos Early work inspired so many of todays Bassline Djs.

Today there Pump Records releases can fetch a bit of money in the past ive seen certain tracks Fetch £20+
This track was a massive anthem in the Birmingham Club Scene.

Its debut release was played in many Gay clubs in Birmingham as featured on a number of mixtapes from Tin Tin's etc.

The Style of this Track also was Played on a regualr Basis in Birmingham around 2002 onwards , this track got massive plays from Joe Hunt known to play Speed garage / Bassline and many other Bassline Djs due to the style of this track crossing genres with its organ piano Style.

In many Club Classic / Retro House nights this track will still get played today.

Anthem

Very Very Rare

This track only ever reached Test Press Stage.

Tempest records Birmingham recived 10 Copys , other copys was Dj promos sent to Djs across the midlands and up north.

There has been much debate on How many was actually pressed but its safe to say no more than 30 no less than 10 (When I asked the record label owner)

The track was a Massive track @ Radius Nightclub Birmingham (now scarletts) at an event called Bounce . Also was a Anthem on Silk City FM a Pirate Underground Station

The Trotters Collection was massive in Birmingham with the rise and fall of the Speed Garage Days, Speed garage Djs would Often mix Trotters Style of House in a Speed Garage Set.

Trotters 1-6 , Disco Hybrids , Summer Junkies, Overdubz etc are Classed in Birmingham as Club Classics but they really stand as Birmingham Anthems.

These tracks are still played today in Classic / retro house Clubs.

Trotters 6 is the rarest of them whole Trotters collection.
