Le Knight Club
vs.
DJ Sneak - Intergalactik Disko - 07-Oct-07 01:49 PM
I listened to this record for a few weeks at 33rpm because DJ Sneaks remix is pressed at 33 (what i listened to first) but the Le Knight Club Original is pressed at 45. I think its up to the listeners discretion to chose what speed to play it at but now on my i pod i have two copies of this track one at 33 and one at 45.
Whatever speed its a great track!
Jamiroquai - Emergency On Planet Earth - 23-Sep-07 02:58 PM
The album in itself is one of the best albums i have ever heard but in reference to the company Simply Vinyl i have noting but praise listening to this album on a middle range turntable is like listening to the master recording in the studio after a few listens i have not one crackle or scratch
this is a very high quality pressing and if you are after this vinyl to listen to you re probably much better off buying a new copy of this than a second hand sony copy
Thomas Bangalter - Trax On Da Rocks Vol. 2 - 23-Sep-07 02:45 PM
This was the first proper Roule release i got hold of (after the CD Maxi of music sounds better with you) and i love every track on it.
When Club Soda starts up you think "man, i hope the rest is like this" but then when it ends and Extra Dry starts you think "Actually i hope the rest sounds like this."
for me all the tracks a 5/5 apart from Colossus which i would give 4/5. My personal favorite is Turbo, the way it goes from an in your face electronic sound to the repeating and mesmorising "dddddddddd" breaks all of my rules of a well constructed track but it works so well that you just what it to keep ddddddding for the next five minutes.
