I can't believe this is not on a major label. I'm thinking Hymen, Rephlex, etc. For me it is definitely a 'concept' album, yet is covering so much ground as to be unclassifiable. Noise, beats, rave, techno, ambient, illbient, leftfield, breakcore, drum 'n' bass, free tekno, EDM; all these monikers come to mind. Suffice it say is accessible and also 'heady'. Deep sub-bass and well use of the sampler for sure.
I've listened to this release under many circumstances and environments. It never grows stale or formulaic. Simply what the Underground should sound like! Dark at times, yet: liberating in its scope. I suggest acquiring this album before you die!
