To my ears, this release is realy outstanding! i bought this in 2000 and gave it a few listens, then it disappeared in the depths of my collection for five years. it was only when i put this on accidently in the right moment during a time of intense personal experience and change of perception of inner and outer space. when listening to it then, it rewarded me with one of the most otherworldly listening experiences i´ve ever had! It in fact felt like being in a big abandoned building, where someone was using a pneumatic drill some floors below, but without hearing the actual sound of the machine, just the vibrations and resonance of the building, like slow earthquake rumbles or like being in a floating tank with a metro driving sixty feet beneath you. very quiet und subtle in places, this needs time and several listens to evolve in your ears, but you won´t be disappointed!
