Jeff Mills - The Extremist - 26-Jan-06 08:12 AM
After some years of trying I got a copy of this much hyped release by Mr Mills.
I was not dissapointed. This record is typical of Mills at the time i.e furious industrial tinged techno which took no prisoners.
It is possibly his finest release, with the exception of 'Late Nite'/'Berlin', however due to the rather quiet pressing on my copy these have to come a close second.

Andreas Krämer - Der Leitwolf - 02-Sep-05 08:40 AM
An early release for Andreas Kramer who is not to be confused with Andreas Kremer. Any way; this release is hard as nails grinding Germanic Techno that will destroy any dancefloor on this planet. Although it is hard stuff its unique baseline will get most techno fans grinning from ear to ear with pleasure.

DJ Hell* - Hell Ärgere Dich Nicht - 01-Feb-05 09:30 AM
Hot In The Heels Of Love is often listed wrongly and mistakenly called Hot On The Heels Of Love (listed incorrectly on carl cox's f.a.c.t!)
Anyway, this is a sublime piece of pure techno that will instantly make you want to play it over and over again. This piece of vinyl makes most modern day techno seem bland and uninteresting in comparison. Oh and I forgot to mention; it's absolutely banging!!!

Itch-E + Scratch-E* - Interference - 28-Jan-05 05:46 AM
Iterference is probably one of the most atmospheric piece's of techno-trance I've heard. The intro sets the atmosphere with some robotic noises and nice warm chords, this is followed by a low end throb that builds and builds then the whole thing just breaks down into a mental progressive journey with quality soundscapes and noises. Quite simply; CLASS!!

Misjah & Groovehead* - Trippin' Out - 14-Jan-05 07:13 AM
This is the first release on Misjah's label x-trax. It is by far the finest release on this label. Trippin out is a full-on trance attack with big break down. On the flip is psycho city a blinding piece of acid techno that just builds and builds. Sadly though Dj Misjah has veered away from the acid trance/techno style and has been releasing a more straight ahead style of techno, but his production is still top notch.
