Stromklang - Untitled - 17-Sep-07 01:08 AM
Stromklang is the German adjective, meaning current sounded. When it is time to describe Mr. Heckmann, stromklang usually comes to mind. Current sounding is a good start in describing this four track minimal techno ep. Distant can be another. All these tracks leave you feeling withdrawn and searching for an unknown. Unknown because the tracks dont really take you anywhere. However Mr. Heckmann provides you with some snippets that sound very good (especially track #4) typical of his minimal sound that can be used as parts to a complete set.

Infiltrator, The - Infiltrator - 22-Oct-06 01:42 PM
The record cover looks like a senator standing with his briefcase in hand at the top edge of the stairs leading to the US Capital Building. I suppose you have to use your imagination a bit, but in the background it looks like you can see the dome. I wonder how he did.

Dance 2 Trance - ¿Where Is Dag? - 04-Sep-06 07:21 AM
Nice use of Chris Carter’s “Falling” synth-line for the track "Where Is Dag?". It just goes to show that good musicians listen to good music.

Fast Eddie* Featuring Sundance (2) - Git On Up - 06-Jun-06 01:49 AM
Hip House became a failed music experiment; however “Get On Up” is by far one of its best creation’s from one of its best creators. Totally pumping dance music with excellent changing breakdowns. The voice of Sundance is what really sets this apart from that other entirely over-hyped and over-stereotyped Hip House.

Innersphere - Necronomicon Remixes - 12-Apr-06 06:33 AM
For me this was the techno equivalent of Bobby Konders nervous acid. It continues the journey five years down the road (I’m speaking of the year 1994) with sounds more suited for dark, late night warehouse parities. My big mistake was trading my copy of nervous acid after I got this release for which I still have not found again.
