Bug, The - Jah War - 02-Jun-08 01:39 PM
Firstly, just to confirm whats already been said, Loefahs bass adds something new and interesting to the track! This track needs to be heard out on a system to be fully appreciated, as with all Loefah tracks in my opinion(not that I`ve had many opportunities). Secondly, I think that the original on this record is different from the original that is featured on Mary Anne Hobbs`s Dub Warz, pressed on the Planet Mu label. The hi hats on this record seem to have so much more energy and power than the previously mentioned. If you can get the chance to hear it check it out,its Fiyah!

Sarin Assault - Sarin Assault EP - 30-Oct-07 03:18 PM
I picked this vinyl up some years ago now, and it has to be said it is one of my most cherished. The track here to destroy your brain is, A1: 3 Min. Of Waste. It is relentless with its toxic noise from start to finish. Building up to the most intense noise from the word go. If you like it industrial, purchase this record. It must be pushing 250bpm!!! I love it through the headphones the best, which is where you can appreciate it best. Fantastic in the week, mind blowing at the weekend, if you get my drift. The A2 track is similar to the faster tracks of Micropoint, with its industrial hammer bashing sounds. B1 is some kind of breaky drum and bass type track which is cool, and B2 is a slower industrial doomy hardcore track.

Most definately Sarin Assaults hardest release.

6/5

Various - Obliterati EP 4 - Everything You Feel Is Laced With Fucking Lies - 03-Sep-07 07:49 AM
I`ve had this 2 x 12" for around, well lets say not long after it came out and to be honest with you, I aint even listened to any of the tracks after Temulent - I Am The Devil. This track is awesome in every way, so nice to mix, heavy bass lines, great breaks, awesome vocals, maybe I will check the other tracks sometime soon!

Worth every penny I paid for it, just for that one track!

Big up Temulent...A must for your collection!

Dolphin (6) & Teknoist, The - Sons Of The Great Fire Maker - 14-Sep-06 09:24 AM
Been waiting for this release to come out for, lets say... a little while. Heard it a few months ago now and thought it was excellent stuff instantly!! Remember constantly askin Mr Dolphin n Mr Teknoist to play it in their live set at Jasbof in Liverpool sometime in mid 2006. And yes the place went off needless to say!! They played "Power Without Form", which is my prefered track here. Which i would describe as a gut churning crunchy exotic beats fest!! Really good track!! The chopped up kicks and bass drums, with the addition of the sickly Doctor Who vocals just does it for me. The 2nd track is probably overall as good, again it is very well put together with its long build up, crushing beats, and fu*ked up IDM violin type breakdown. But ask me to choose? Why? You know the answer!!

Miro - Understand - 14-Aug-05 10:59 AM
Truly amazing release, one of Miro`s finest releases to date!!!! Purple moon is a dark trippy atmospheric ride from beginning to end!!!! Definately an old classic anthem, and thats how it will be till the end of time!!! Understand on the flip side is not as good in my opinion, but probably wasnt ment to be an anthem.
