my (maybe harsh) opinion of this release is that it sounds very much like an uninspired dopplereffekt clone that brings no new ideas forward.

der zyklus ii is an excellent release. formenverwandler is a stand out track combining a crisp beat, minimalist funk, some sad chords and the vocals 'i'm shapeshifting from place to place/bending time/curving space'. it is a simple combination but a very pleasing one.
