Unquestionably, Between Fiction & Reality by Remotion could be one of the greatest Berlin School EM CDs I've ever heard. Everytime I hear it I'm totally blown away by the exceptional sequences and superb atmospheric pads - total Berlin School brilliance! This is EM that really transports you. The song titles are a dead giveaway. When listening to the track 'Echoes From Another Dimension' I'm there. I don't really know what time and space dimension it is, but I'm there. Sends shivers down my spine every time! If you are looking to get into Berlin School type EM, with a healthy dose of supreme atmospherics thrown in for good measure this is a great place to start. I hear a new Remotion CD could be coming... With bated breath I'm waiting: it can't come soon enough!

Ahh... The Power of Music. To be more precise...Electronic Music! I first heard Calypso while travelling the coastline of Big Sur. Now, if you know nothing of Big Sur- let me tell you-- It is some of the most awe inspiring coastline in California I have ever seen. Having Calypso playing, while on this excursion made the sights even more breathtaking. How many words can i use to describe this brilliant release- Epic, Lush, Majestic, Haunting, Dramatic and at the same time having such an incredible beauty. It's a shame more people don't know about this Title. A true sublime ambient masterpiece from 2 very talented Electronic musicians. Kiraly and Crevier- wherever you are- Thank You!

Top-Notch, High Quality Berlin School EM
really drives my boat. If you want to listen
to new age music, Kitaro and Yanni should be
right up your alley. Won't find that here.
If you are looking for great EM, that does
not sound to new agey-- Then Manikin delivers
the goods.
