Anthony Manning - Islets In Pink Polypropylene - 07-Jan-07 11:28 AM
This is Anthony Manning’s first full-length album for the legendary Irdial Disc and marks a milestone in electronic music, nothing less. Flowing spheres of music, there gos on and on.
This was original made on a Roland R-8 drum machine and I’m not kidding but listening too this beatless music, it makes it very hard to believe.
Cheers to the label Irdial for bringing stuff like this out.
Fm3 - Mort Aux Vaches - 04-Jan-07 08:47 AM
One very long and cool soundscape here that very slowly pulsates in and out occasionally reaching a hard distorted crescendo before retreting back to its softer state. gradually morphing with other sounds but not that you would notice as this happens over 10 minutes or so. Nice subtle soundscapes to keep you at dark peace close to death. in other words a great CD.
V/Vm - Machine Component 1 - 03-Jan-07 05:13 PM
The Machine Components is not just machine music it’s organic, somewhere between Sun O))) and Mego with some dark string sounding sequences. It’s stated in that the Machine Components nods towards the dark photographs of Australian photographer Bill Henson and just as well as I can see the link, I’m sure you can when you have listened to the music.
It’s pretty dark and its pretty pretty good.
Henri Chopin - Le Corpsbis & Co - 02-Jan-07 11:43 PM
Le Corpsbis & Co - Probably the best collection ever made if you would like to enter the fascinating world of Henri Chopin as a beginner. It’s pretty cheap compared to some of his other releases, the sound quality is outstanding, and there is a great booklet as in French, English, and German.
Big cheers to the label Nepless for a release like this.
Various - 2:3 -- Oswald Wiener Zum 65. Geburtstag - 30-Dec-06 03:41 PM
This is a great 65 years birthday celebration cd for the artist Oswald Wiener with a lot of great tracks from Mouse on Mars, Thomas Brinkmann, Marcus Schmickler, and many many more. There is an easy and playful atmosphere throughout the cd, which I can warmly recommend to everybody into German free style.
Big cheers to the label Supposé for a release like this.
