Time to re-discover this house music wonder, for those of you who missed it : How YAll Funk is on the Get Physicals third Body Language compilation, mixed by Jesse Rose (that explains everything).
No risk of getting bored, flip the record and Oooo YesssSir is there, just as good.
Dubsided is one label with high quality standards, but this particular record is surprisingly even better.

The job gets done, indeed. This one track really reminds me of Modena on No Sleep Part One EP on REKIDS : same track construction, same type of sounds, effects. And of course : same efficiency on the dancefloor.

A surprising label : you listen to the record at the record shop, the Mobilee 12" is just one amongst others, nothing in particular. Then you hear how Anja Schneider uses it, and you suddenly figure "I should have bought it". For your own sake, I hope the last Mobilee is still for sale at your record shop ...

If theres one thing to say about this label, its "Theyre rulling it"! Of course, they have their own style, a bouncy-funky-deep-minimal house cocktail of killer tracks produced by some of the most appreciated artists on the scene, and maybe some dont like it but the public out there is asking for more. The body Language cds are all to be bought without looking at the price on the record, and they make it even easier for us to realise that well, theyre rulling it ...

That record is sorted in my collection under the category "good laugh for sure", along with Mr Oizos Flat Beat. Not everybody likes it, but most of us have this nostalgic smile on our face, thinking "aaaah, the good old days" ...
