Probably one of the best-selling "Factory" record in United States! this is really epic band founded by Hacienda dj Mike Pickering and Gonnie Rietveld, Love Tempo is a brilliant electro funk dance tune with some typical no-wave elements from New York scene very different from other Factorys releases. Perfect track if you like mixing some Material and Dinosaur L stuff.
Sampled by Derrick L. Carter for his release on Classsic CMC080 "The Unterschrift EP".

Essential album from one of the most influential music writer, composer, singer, arranger, musician of the whole music history. After 38 years still sounds fantastic. This in particular is the best work beside "Terra Brasilis" and "Wave". All tracks are absolutely masterpieces, "Tereza My Love" the opening theme is a beautiful slow bossa nova track, very emotional song, "Brazil" needs no explanation, classic brazilian tune, "Amparo" is my favourite, it was used in the movie "The Adventures" the arrangement of the piano reminds me some works from Debussy. The title track "Stone Flower" shows a typical atmosphere of brazilian music style, vibrant rhythms and perfect arrangement like many Jobims tracks. Antonio Carlos Jobim is aknowledged as the creator and innovator of bossa nova style and this amazing album is the proof.

Mr. Kerri Chandler in full effect! Deep sensual dancefloor house tune, with spacey synth chords, simple and minimal arrangement as always. Three or four very simple sounds mixed in the right way, some bell percussions reminds me his recent masterpiece "Bar A Thym", anyway he is the man for all house music nostalgic heads, very deep and bumpin happy groove, perfect record for warm-up moments. I dont know nothing about the main artist, but im very excited to play and enrich my vinyls collection with this jewel.

Im really glad to write the first review about this 95 masterpiece. This is the finest moment of amazing duo formed by Rob Rives and Adam Goldstone (RIP). Orange Sunshine is a deep discohouse classic tune with techno rhythm elements back from mid nineties, when all the house music scene was victim of the disco sampling rush. I really miss the talented and innovating Adams work, i was a big fan of him and avid collector of his releases. I prefer the (Club Version) funky bassline, mellow echoed guitar sounds and sexy vocals talking about "the lights, the heat, the strobe, the sweat!". 4 AM tune perfect sound for small and dark rooms!

One of my favourite Bobby Konderss releases on Massive B. "Black & White" is an absolute deep house classic, with atmospheric effect intro featuring the beautiful voice of spoken word artist Micky Smith, he is a jamaican poet pioneer, and part of Dub Poets project belong to Bobby. This was produced by Konders two years after the massive classic "Poem" without lost his magic touch. The flute synth line was composed by Peter Daou another house musics "maestro". great record maybe the last one before the label turns on hip hop and reggae releases definitively.
