NOW IS THE TIME TO HANG UP MY VINYL BOOTS CUZ RETIRING AS A COLLECTOR. IT BREAKS MY HEART DUE TO THE EFFORT AND TIME IN BUILDING A TREASURED COLLECTION BUT DUE TO EXPECTING A BABY, MY EXPECTATIONS IN LIFE HAVE ALTERED DRAMATICALLY.
THEREFORE PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT MY COLLECTION. I WILL SLOWLY BE PLAY GRADING, THEN SELLING ON HERE.
IF THERE IS SOMETHING YOU WANT, MAKE A REALISTIC OFFER.
MANY OF MY RECORDS HAVE BEEN KEPT IN POLYLINED SLEEVES TO PROTECT VINYL FROM SCRATCHES, AND TRANSPARENT SLEEVES TO PROTECT THE ORIGINAL SLEEVES FROM DAMAGE.
FOR LARGE BULK PURCHASES, I MAY REDUCE COSTS OR WAVE SHIPPING COSTS.
HOWEVER THERE ARE A FEW I MUST TREASURE FOR KEEPSAKE PURPOSES.
HAPPY LOOKING! LONG LIVE DISCOGS ;0)

Yolk - Sunny Side Up EP - 07-Sep-08 02:06 PM
This classic record was created in my home town of Gloucester. The artistic talent and innovation from local Milf and the Ohm crew all played a huge part in making the rave scene a popular hedonistic pastime. God bless you all!! Ohm Records went onto become Ruffbeat Records. One side samples A-ha- 'Take on me' while the other side samples Abba- 'Take a chance'.
To the best of my knowledge, only a handful of unstamped copies were produced.
Pleasure Game - Le Seigneur Des Ténèbres - 07-Sep-08 02:03 PM
Sublime rave track that was played in UK, by DJ's willing to cross boundaries into Belgian techno. I first heard this in Pulse club, Swansea in October 1991. While being influenced by classical music when growing up, I was introduced to an eclectic array of modern and olde sounds.
Familiarities to Mystical Units- 'Positively Evil' (Old spice theme!), this samples George Frederick Handel's 'Messiah' (Hallelujah!) Its rave stabs, basic 4-4 beat, parisian (Barry White) voice and chorale singing makes this track alive.
DJ's in UK, such as Slipmatt, Easygroove, Tony de Vit, Lomas were enveloping this style into their own sets and productions in 1991 and 1992. As rave music was best appreciated in a field, so then was Euro hardcore. Excellent tune and definitely worth a listen.
Various - Knights J2 - 24-Mar-08 06:45 PM
Since purchasing this 4-tracker wax, I was introduced to a couple of tracks I had yet heard...And was pleasantly surprised. Unlike the former reviewer, my copy has been prestinely cut with no warping whatsoever. I thought it only right to mention in justifying anyone who wishes to purchase this vinyl. I would recommend for any DJ wishing to take a shortcut in owning a collection of tracks. Perfect for playing out, while ensuring the originals are safe and sound!! Rating 5/5;0)
2 Men & A Man - Untitled - 12-Feb-08 07:41 AM
This wax was only released as a white label. Both sides feature styles typically reminiscent of old school in early-mid 1992. A side combines real-time piano melodies (much of which is not looped) with rolling basslines, minimal female vocals, and rave style stabs, which makes this an all time classic. While B side has a dark Belgian techno sound- Easygroovesque! Overall a guaranteed old school record pleaser no matter what your preference. If you get a copy, never let it go. Side A is as raw today as it was in the raves & clubs back then. My no.1 track by quite some margin!!
Coldcut - Everything Is Under Control - 20-Jun-07 05:08 PM
This vinyl deserves being accreditted for its eclectic sounds. While you have a simple yet euphoric breaks mix on one side while having an accapella to mix over any repetitive beat, the other side produces a hard smashing drum and bass version. This has been a favourite for such DJ's as Pendulum during the summer of 2006. Mindblowing tune that proves there is no limit to what Coldcut can achieve!!
