M3 - Bailamos Jan 31, 2008
Matt Darey on the mix here... A fierce gallopping trance track with marcella woods on the spanish vocal who sings about "dancing towards the fire". The track builds up with a balaeric style synth piano and castanets for that ibizan feel. After the breakdown, the track spirals upwards with more spanish vocals along with a nice balaeric piano rift and castanets. Matt darey comes up trumps again with this euphoric trance belter. Fans of the gatecrasher and euphoria cd's will love this! Recommended!
Teachers, The (2) - Listen And Repeat Jun 07, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
If you've ever listened to a course on tape which teaches you how to speak a new language, then you will love this record! It had a warm flow to it with a distinct punchy beat all the way through and you'll also hear the rift from "flawless" by The Ones. The problem is that at the correct playing speed of 33rpm this record is VERY slow (114.7 BPM) which lets it down - it's hard to mix it with any other dance record.
Liquid - Orlando Dawn Feb 15, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
Nice to see liquid back with a a new track after quite some time! This one is quite a dreamy track with a balaeric feel to it and a vocal running all the way through. The Agnelli & Nelson Mix seems out of sync with the beat but is the best out of the two. Check it out!
Project Largo - Airplay Oct 17, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
If anyone had a BBC MICRO Computer, they will remember this track as the music at the beginning of the Sabre Wulf game before you pressed a key to start the game! Nostalgia gone mad! Im sure this is a classic piece as well but I dont know what it was originally called. This track is
a nice rolling uplifting classical piece made into a trance track. Check it out and remember the good old says of Sabre Wulf!
Âme - Rej EP Aug 10, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
I came back from Ibiza today and heard this tune whilst dancing at DC10. The crowd went absolutely mad when they heard it and I was just blown away. "Ame" is the Japanese word for "Mothers Love" by the way. This tune sends shivers down my spine. Its synthline is slightly creepy in an awesome way. Its a captivating, rolling, intriguing track - check it out.
DJ Taucher* - Child Of The Universe (Sanvean) / Bizarre Mar 12, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
What a trance-formation!!! Sanvean is one of dead can dance's tracks. If you like these haunting dreamy lyrics, check out dead can dance on 4AD records. They produce haunting new age type music which really packs a punch. Lisa Gerrard provides the vocals on this one as she also does on most of dead can dance's tracks. Check out the album "Toward The Within" by dead can dance for this type of sound.
Spacelovers, The - Space Lover Feb 17, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
A beautiful vocal "feel good" dance track that reminds me of the sun coming up and bursting into the room when you open the curtains! Lovely crescendos and 4x4 beat all the way through this one. Ibiza fans will love it!
Tom Donax - Dreamin Jan 26, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
This track is quite hypnotic with a nice harmony all the way through.

There is a pleasant eerieness about it and a vocal which says:

"Take you to the hotel Martinez in Brooklyn where Bobby Gillette and his orchestra are offering a programme of dance music. Fabulous!"

An awesome track with a funky rift.

Theres something emotional about this track that I cant quite work out.

Definitely worth a listen!
Various - Music For Dreams Jul 25, 2004 (edited over 5 years ago)
I have never heard a cd compilation like this ever before. Its a truly outstanding compilation of music you may have never heard or will never hear again. Captured on these 2 cd's together is a selection of music from artists which are little-known to the average person. It beats any other chill-out cd hands down because of the mix of artists on it which go to make it such a rare Gem. These artists' music first washed over me in 1997 in Ibiza at cafe del mar whilst the sun went down. I bought it there and then and it reduces me to a quivvering mess each time I hear it. It reminded me of the intense club nights in ibiza and in contrast, the chilli sun-downs at del-mar. This cd is music for dreams and for me, helps me to treasure a memory of my first visit to ibiza in 1997. I was overwhelmed to tears whilst sitting on the beach that evening listening to this cd. It grabbed my attention and my heart. If you can find this cd and listen to it, I hope you feel it like I do. Enjoy! Alex.

Lazerium is one of the most amazing examples of electronic music I have ever heard. I havent heard any other trance or techno tune to beat it. It ebbs and flows like a story - you just have to hear it - it gets your mind ticking over. An excellent though-provoking piece of work! - alex
