Simply breathtaking ambient pop from Germany. Somehow subversive, but really easy to get into. This is the real future pop. Keep up the good work please!
Wim Mertens Apr 23, 2003
Anyone into Mertens? isn´t he one of the most soulful and delicate composers of the last decades? I got into him after years on techno, glitch, ambient and so on, but he´s showed me new (or old) ways of making simple, effective, addictive tunes that goes straight to your heart and...well, am I the only person in the world who dances to some of his tracks?
Steve Reich Apr 23, 2003
Reich is simply the best on contemporary classical music. His early works have been a really deep influence on techno, check out "Piano phase" or "Violin phase" and get rid of the fact that what you thought was "avant garde" is already 30 years old. So groovy, so emotional, so charming..enigmatic and soulful. Hard to explain in words, the Reich experience is something you must live at your own.
Carretta remix is simply a groundbreaking anthem for the post-Y2K electro dancefloors. Really deep even if it´s so dj-oriented. Cheers
