This guy is out of his mind. The music he produces is miles ahead of anything that has been done in electro before. Think Boys Noize meets Feadz meets Justice. The sound is gritty and raw, the beats are completely deconstructed yet very danceable, the remixes he makes are instant floorfillers: this is the music of the future!
Miss Kittin - A Bugged Out Mix By Miss Kittin - 13-May-06 12:11 PM
These are indeed Perfect Days & Nights by the notorious Miss Kittin. The mixes are simply flawless, the music varies from straight electro to techno on the 1st disc, and experimental, downtempo & idm on the second disc. What impresses me as well is the quality of the sound: the mastering is astounding, and its something that is often butchered in these kind of records. In my opinion of the the best release of the Bugged Out series.
Water Lilly - Sputnika - 02-Feb-06 08:20 AM
Lottotron Reboot is actually an incredibly unoriginal cover of a New Wave classic, "Tout Petit La Planète" by Belgian artist Plastic Bertrand. Water Lilly basically just replaced the original vocals with her boring lyrics. Kinda like Kelly Osborne ripping of Visage's "Fade To Grey" with her song "One World", but worse.
Vitalic - 24-Jan-06 07:34 AM
One of my favorite producer, Vitalic has an incredible sense of rythm and melody. He's got a awesome signature bassline that has this ability to make you dance like no one else. He is also a remarkable remixer. His remixes of Bolz Bolz, The Hacker, Scratch Massive, Daft Punk & Bjork really shows off his ability to turn any decent tune into a killer electro track.
haujobb.* - Freeze Frame Reality - 20-Dec-05 12:05 AM
Maybe not as polished as the following LP "Solutions For A Small Planet", this album has its moments. Songs like "Solid State Logic", "Sensor" & "Consciousness" were the forerunners of great things to come for Haujobb, while "World Window" remains a personnal all-time favorite. It sure was breaking new grounds in the shallow electro-industrial scene back then, and a great departure from the Skinny Puppiesque ripoff that "Homes & Garden" was. I'm pretty sure FFR was an inspiration for the next wave of electro-industrial artists of the 90s.
