Autechre - Incunabula - 08-Jun-06 06:10 AM
As far as I am concerned this is THE greatest electronic album ever. It takes you on a very personal journey through the landscape of ambient music with some clips and breaks here and there. Nevertheless always perfectly fitting in. Even if you are listening to it for teh hundreds time, you'll always find something new and never heard before in the tracks. Specifically the track "444" is beyond all senses. Besides "Amber" and "Garbage", Incunabula is the best work of Booth and Brown and I'd give the album a slight advantage over aforementioned albums/records.
Truely a masterpiece of music in general. Absolute goose-flesh.

Guru Josh - Infinity - 02-Sep-05 07:29 PM
I have to confess that in 1990 the track "Infinty" was the beginning of my personal techno era. Although this track went mainstream, back at that time, I listened to it over and over again until my ears started to bleed. That does not mean I did not respect artists like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Can and the likes before (and I am NOT saying Guru Josh is in the same league as aforementioned artsist, never), but after "Infinty" the world seemed different. That childish Synthezier sounds made me thinking...

Acid Warrior - Drop In - 09-Aug-05 04:53 AM
As far as I am concerned, this record ranks among the best Acid records ever produced, especially "Acid Bites". The 303 and 909 elements are interpreted in a very aggressive and strong manner and still leave enough room for an upbuilding, powerful and beautiful track. Rob Acid's alter ego "Acid Warrior" never fitted better...

Basic Channel - Phylyps Trak - 22-Jul-05 02:51 PM
This is one of the best techno records ever produced. A timeless track which outshines all other Basic Channel releases. Even after listening to it for the 100th time, it still is a dark, atmospheric, mindblowing, hard piece of electronic music.
