Awesome! Really storming tracks. Full of electronic weirdness, like a struggle of metal robo-mutants. 2 tracks (Hammerhead & Strap-On) in one stream. Machines just scream. When i heard this first i was totally knocked. The only thought was in my mind - i must have it and play hardly. But the real gem for me on this record is Warschauer Strasse - it's like a train that goes insane - big-grained spontaneous beats. Heavy & Tuff. Respect !!
Solieb - Isotropy_Magnitude - 08-Dec-05 06:12 AM
Shame on me, i missed some new Lieb releases! A side kicked me off - Isotropy is a true innovative work. Incredible background sounds (like Monolake's pitched down decimators) + trancey sequences guiding your mind in front. Hard mental sound-pressure makes you fly high. Isotropy is the #1 brain-stormer for me now - actual, up-to-date and unique. A modern classic coming from the heart. Magnitude on the other side is a serious dark track. Scary and bright at one time. Both worth of playing at alien dancefloor ;) Excellent balance of power and mind!

Very surprised with this record. It looks like a more danceable and less private modification of "a shocking hobby", and it also reminded me the beloved "ieee mitten menue" record. Interesting, energetic and fresh, unlike recent Speedy J techno-production. But the tracks could be a bit faster and shorter. A side is like massive dirty (or even underground) dancefloor burner. Could be used as a set-starter, and imo, it perfectly fits any vivid and unusual techno set. B side is a bit scary and very hypnotic. Like, something always transforms and breaks. To play at dark!
David Roiseux - It Will Change EP - 28-Oct-05 04:54 PM
Cannot pass this piece. A really good release from Roiseux (Still don't know how his name is spelled in Russian...). I found 2 personal gems on this records, both on the b-side. Demented is a regular floor-food no rasins at all - simple drum-line + a pair of samples on the background. But i know it works when you spin. "The Nine" almost lifts me up - a trancey-pads and a massive tribal-like beats make a mood indeed. It is a perfect set-ender imo. And another B-track is "Scroll" - kinda-progressive, sounding-like-a-futuristic-toybox track featuring dark, reversed, hardly understandable vocals. Intrigues me... Like a a rumble in a digital jungle... ;)
DJ Krush - 寂 Jaku - 24-Jun-05 12:09 AM
Krush goest natural and essential here... His roots' cultural prophecy is heard in almost every song. Whole album is very melodic, deep and atmospheric. Being a big fan of this guy's output, i met this album a bit _different_, but i wouldn't say it's bad. No! - Krush puts more ethnic drops in this piece, big space, more feeling. It goes warm, slightly out-a-space and, of course, melancholic. More live instruments and improved sampling-technique. It's more that hip-hop now. It's Krush in his unique gifted new look. Groovy and wise. Respect to the author!
