Reviews & Discussion:
Corona is primarily known worldwide for her (their?) hits "Rhythm Of The Night" and "Baby Baby". Few people know that the verses of "Rhythm Of The Night" are taken straight from an earlier release by Dutch duo Say When! entitled "Save Me", and that the chorus of "Baby Baby", itself a remake of the Joy & Joyce song "Babe Babe", utilizes samples from Siedah Garrett's "K.I.S.S.I.N.G." as it's chorus.

Vanity 6
Jan 16, 2004
If you like Vanity 6, download the song "Vibrator". It was recorded for the "Vanity 6" album, but was left off. It would have fit perfectly, as it has the same new wave/funk beat, and saucy lyrics. Yes, it's about what you think it is, with a hilarious cameo by Prince in the breakdown and Vanity once again perfecting her moans. There is also a demo version by Vanity of Apollonia 6's "Sex Shooter" that should be looked for. I think it's better than Apollonia's version...
Traci Lords

For anyone interested in Ms. Lords (who isn't), read her autobiography, Underneath It All. Aside from recounting her porn past, she discusses making the 1,000 Fires album and her attempts at being a DJ. To get "Control" played at a club, she said she awkwarded climbed over a barrier and forced herself upon Paul Oakenfold while he was DJing, begging him to play the record. Indeed he did, and it became one of his favourites at the time, causing it to become a minor hit.

Dominator (2)
Dec 11, 2003
Dominator has to have mastered the most evil music ever. Slow, drudging and minimal noise, with quietly growled spoken vocals (mumbling about death, torture and sex) and occasional sound effects (screams, clangs, etc.). The music sounds as if it is piping in distantly from a dungeon just above the bowels of Hell. I dare anyone to throw a Dominator CD on and listen to it alone in the dark. Truly frightening, and for me, almost unbearable!
Chimes, The - 1-2-3 (Raw Mix)
Dec 10, 2003
I just got my hands on this, and I was pretty disappointed. This is a great song, but unfortunately someone (David Morales perhaps?) decided to add a load of background singers to the mix, muddling Pauline Henry's excellent vocals. The album version is far better, in it's stripped down form. The mix of Underestimate here makes it worth it, though!
