Various - Chorusline Two - 09-Jan-08 12:54 AM
They dont make em like they used to! Thats what people used to say before this monster slab of vinyl came along, and you thought that chorusline 1 was a good double pack!!! My favs are "No Radio", "Mudslide" and the superior sounds of "Sand Dune" when i first got this home from the shop i couldnt believe my ears, i listened to it for weeks on end, this to me is Techno Funk at its most pure and most effective, this just re-enforces my theory that you dont have to have harsh sounds in your track for it to hit the spot, a absolute must have for all vinyl addicts, all hail Figment!!!!

K. Alexi Shelby* - All For Lee-Sah - 17-Dec-07 09:11 AM
People fortunate enough to get there hands on a original red and green labeled copy from 1989 will find that if you hold it up to the light, you will be pleasantly surprised that the record is pressed on dark green transparent vinyl! Unfortunatley that means that these copies can vary in price from £20 upwards these days, all other repressed releases are pressed on black vinyl, there are also some crackly pressings of the repressed gold and black label which emerged in the mid nineties.

Blake Baxter - EP - 24-Nov-07 09:29 AM
Four track ep of its time, some consider it to be a groundbreaking ep of benchmark proportions, being one of the earlier releases on Incognito it is still one of the more playable and relatively comparable to todays dance music.
HoRnIe is more a percussive experiment, while DoEs NoT CoMpUtE is a journey into the robotic mind of Blake Baxter, SeXuAlItY was in its day very risque, none the less its a spanker of a track, While BrAvE NeW WoRlD is just simply a majestic outing from 1987, fantastic rhythm and great melodie lines, they just dont make em like they used to....Killer tracks!
