TNT Productions is an offshoot of Tonkin Records. For a small label, the cost of producing and printing the label and cover artwork is quite punitive and can restrict the number of releases that can be made. Jon & Chris, who run both labels, decided to keep the high production quality of the Tonkin Records releases and start up a parallel set of 'white label' releases on TNT Productions. In less than three years, TNT have put out over a dozen releases, a number of which have been licensed by larger companies or found their way onto major compilations.
