Really a solid producer. He started his carrear by sending two remixes of U2 to John Digweed, Digweed was kinda fond of what he heard and told Fair to return when he had produced some of his own material and on that path it goes. Really solid producer and an entertaining DJ to listen to, Digweed has been hammering the track Bloc Rock for ages now and has been according to Digweed himself, a tried and tested tune to get any party going.
Chris Fortier - Losing Wait - 07-Apr-05 06:01 AM
This could possible be one of the most beautiful progressive house tracks ever and perhaps a entry into the more monotone sounds of progressive house. Many feels that its hard to listen to prog house because its dark, monotone and "boring", this could just might be one of thoose tracks that gets in between the "fun" house and the good prog house. Chris Fortier really knows his stuff and proves it with this production, the reprise mix is really good for all of you out there that likes to mash tunes up with a different beat. No one can dislike a track with a beautiful womens voice that sings something you cant pronounce.
Beach Boys, The - Pet Sounds - 07-Apr-05 04:53 AM
Its a nice 180gram release and while it IS The Beach Boys the feeling isnt there, "Wouldnt it be Nice" is good but then the feeling kinda fades. You can still hear some of that awesome Beach Boys studiosound but something is missing. That and the fact that after two songs the sound is dramaticly lowered, its like a sound engineer just spotted that the gains was waaaaay up and he just lowered the sound to barely anything. Very odd that it wasnt caught in the mastering process.

Another very gifted talent in the art of making music however his djing skills doesnt come anywhere near the magic he can put out when producing. He is notorious of trainwrecking time after time, perhaps that is the reason why his Essential Mix of 2002 was pre-recorded on a laptop. Altho it should just be a matter of time before he has mastered the knowledge of a good mix because without exaggregating, he seems to be one of the most musically gifted people around.

A man that is dubbed "The Breakbeat Wizard" by John Digweed on one of his shows (when Digweed played the track Melbourne for the first time on his show) says quite alot. Many of his tunes have become instant classics such as "Sealers Cove" or his remix of PQM´s "You are sleeping" just to name a few.
