DJ Montana - Space Age 3.0 Nov 13, 2009 (edited 17 days ago)
the tune selection on this cd is pretty good, and still sounds fresh 10 years on, but the mixing leaves alot to be desired unfortunatly. it sounds rather hastily put together, and at times the music does not flow as well as it could
This has to be one of my favourite records of all time. Every time i hear it, i could almost cry tears of joy. the tiesto remix is one of his finest pieces of work in my humble opinion. the production is spot on, and through the 9 minutes or so, he builds the track with crisp, beats, beautiful melodies, and mesmerizing vocals, until the breakdown, which builds to a huge climax. the vocals are haunting, and fit perfectly into this track, which devastates floors whenever played. i remember seeing paul oakenfold play the tiesto mix in cream ibiza back in 2005, and people were crying on the dancefloor. the g&d remix is actually very very good as well, but is overlooked by many, due to the huge effort by tiesto
This is simply what trance is all about. Melodic, driving, emotional and uplifting. Agnelli & Nelson have ben doing the business on the trance scene for well over a decade now, with amazing productions that still sound amazing now, and this remix is no exception. In my opinion its the clear winner of the three on offer, with a breakdown that sends shivers down my spine evry time i hear it. A fantastic trance record, plain and simple
