Reviews & Discussion:
The Oakenfold & Osbourne remix of this track is a true trance classic. Amazing production throughout and a great twist from the breaks at the start to huge euphoric trance for the final thrash to the end.
This is much different to the previous "How To Cut And Paste" CDs that Yoda released. Instead of the hip-hop with occasional comedy samples, the mix concentrates on some great 80s nostalgic moments. The 80s cheesy pop is interspersed with guest appearances (including UK TV legends Pat Sharp & Timmy Mallett), TV Themes and samples from 80s cartoons, kids programmes and computer games. The main fun of listening to the CD is trying to pick out where each sample comes from.
Overall How To Cut And Paste Volume 2 is dynamically a better mix, but this is a great party CD and has some great moments that will have you falling out of your chair with laughter.
This is one of those absolute hidden gems, and a true classic in my collection. The mixing on this CD is flawless; perfectly sequenced and programmed. Then there's the tracklisting itself, which features some great little gems. Twenty-Three - Jagannath is one that springs to mind, I've never heard this track anywhere else and it's just fantastic!
