Chalke - The Resurrection - 25-Jun-08 07:55 AM
I agree with Meltdown here. A completely unknown artist (surely someone more famous but with a different moniker, maybe even Bukem himself - certainly sounds like his style in places) that on this vinyl has produced tracks that are before their time. The Resurrection especially sounds more like a track from 1995 than a track from 1993. The Future (apt title indeed) also could be mistaken for a track from 1994. Maybe its different style at the time contributed to the fact that this piece of vinyl was, and is, rarely seen or heard.

This label, although relatively unknown, produced some of the ruffest tunes available in 1993, in my opinion. Using dark and atmospheric samples Crazee M managed to capture the spirit of the Darkside era brilliantly and i would recommend this label to anyone who likes Darkside hardcore. Customs + Excise Volume One and Genesis The Sequel / The Message in particular are two fine pieces of plastic, just dont listen to them in a darkened room will you!

Bizzy B - 19-Dec-07 07:17 AM
In my opinion, Bizzy B undoubtedly produced some of the best and ruffest hardcore tunes between 1992 & 1994. His clever use of samples led to his unmistakable style of manic sample chopping and pitch shifting and was a sure fire way of getting the ravers dancing in clubs all over the land. His tunes are only maybe rivalled by Dave Charlesworth for sheer unadulterated "out ya box" ruffness!
For anybody wanting raw no nonsense oldskool hardcore this is the producer for you.

This label has to be one of the worst ive come across. I have 4 of the EPs on this label and most have various tracks that are badly produced. With useless EQ, samples looped badly and generally shoddy workmanship, I can only assume that this label was for Chris to release his very first tracks that he had produced. He really shouldnt have bothered until he had learned to produce properly. I wouldnt recommend this label to anybody.

Outa Intelligence - Dreamer - 13-Sep-07 05:41 AM
Two excellent tracks on this 12" that was never fully released, only available on promo. The first track contains a female vocal with an atmospheric synth riff. The second track is more like the tracks on the first Outa Intelligence release on B2B12001. This track also includes a wicked piano riff about halfway through that breaks up the tune nicely. A terrible shame that most people will never own this 12" or have even heard the tracks on it. Probably was never released due to sample clearance issues (although the female vocal used on this record is the same as the one used by Hyperactive in the track Do I Have To Wait on Awesome Records).
