Parallel 9 - Index - 17-Oct-07 10:31 AM
Music Man brings us again a wonderful, well skilled Rachmad pearl.
This imho one of the best Steve Rachmad EPs Ive ever heard.
It sounds simple, but the grooves are just right! Raw edgy claps, hi-hats and amazing swooshy synth sounds. This EP is made for techno heaven. Simply amazing!

This is the sound from Steve Rachmad that I really really like.
The music Steve Rachmad makes under his pseudonymes are always a bit deeper than the stuff he releases under his own name.

My favourites are: Codex and Index

Please Steve bring us more from this!

British Murder Boys - BMB4 - Fist / Splinter - 16-Aug-07 02:15 PM
BMB comes back with a pounder that continues with an evolutionized sound, compared to their previous EPs. Just like before its offbeat-techno. Sinister sounds and very unpleasent, that are BMBs trademark.
A side (Fist) - like someone is banging his/her fists against the wall on the beat of the music.
B side (Splinter) - like you just stepped into a splinter and feel very unpleasent, thats the feeling I have for this song.
Just like all the BMB records, worth buying!

British Murder Boys - BMB3 - Don't Give Way To Fear - 16-Aug-07 03:01 AM
Very skillfulled EP from the Boys. Regis and Surgeon once again make another offbeat-techno BMB record. the A side, has nice drums in the background, with a sinister synth that almost makes you go crazy when you hear this record loud. The AA side is quite more pounding than the A side and has a more groovy feeling in it. The Tibetan chanting in the background is magnificent blended with the other (again sinister) sounds.
Good record for the dancefloor in my opinion. Worth buying!

Yahel - Waves Of Sound - 24-May-07 10:29 AM
This is in my opinion the best psy-trance / goa cd of the year 2000. The creativity that Yahel Sherman put in this album is absolutely amgnificent. You hear it in all the songs. The basslines, melodies and sounds perfectly match.
Waves of Sound was for me the cd where it all the started, the album that got me deeper into goa and psychedelic trance. Although I never saw Yahel at a gig. It was always a dream for me to see him play a set. But after this album it became clear for me that he lost the Waves of Sound feeling forever.
The music that he makes nowadays is easy-peasy trance. Well produced, but not for me.
