Various - Perfecto Chills Vol. 1 - 20-Sep-06 01:53 AM
I usually dont comment compilations, especially the ones which contain the term chill in their titles.
But this compilation is different. It is a selection of very quality downtempo tracks.
The sound spectrum is wide ranging from soul (Best Days Of Our Lives) to trip-hop (Sail).
An unexpected nice music trip.

Pablo Bolivar - Anjanas - 01-May-06 06:50 PM
This is the first completed work (LP) of Pablo Bolivar, though it sounds very mature to me. The sound can be described by two main music styles: tech house and IDM/Ambient. Although the techhouse tracks sound good, what really makes a difference is the amazing sound of the ambient ones. There are deep and ambient with some IDM elements.

Various - Blaxploitation - 17-Apr-06 07:19 PM
This compilation contains some of the very best funk/soul tracks of the 70s. I think that this release is very good for somebody that has no experience with funk and wants to listen to something to start with. I fully recommend it.

Purple Penguin - De-Tuned - 16-Apr-06 05:48 AM
This is a quality downtempo trip-hop style release.
The reason I post this comment is that it contains a diamond work (at least for my taste):
"Memphis". This piece of music is unbelievable. For me maybe its the best downtempo production I have ever listened to. Its sound is hypnotic and melodic accompanied by magic female vocals..

Biosphere - Dropsonde - 11-Apr-06 02:07 PM
This Biospheres work is wonderful. Although the sound landscapes are close to his previous releases , I think that this one is less experimental. This fact doesnt mean that its of a lower quality. The production is very sophisticated and mature.
As stated in a comment of the LP release the smooth jazzy drums is something new to Biospheres productions that makes this release more appropriate for a wider range of listeners.
