OUR STATEMENT OF INTENT
Music brings us together. Music we love, Music we share. .....Music that can touch us in the most intimate way.
IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T TRY TO FIX IT!!
Since the early 70's, there have always been parties in the city where people got together and danced in a safe and congenial atmosphere. Where friends were made and where our love for Music could be celebrated. Where you felt special for being part of it, yet at home enough to truly relax and let go on the dance floor, together. Some of those parties became legends, others by now long forgotten...... but the need is still here today for the same basic setting.

Armante - Love Me Or Leave Me - 22-Apr-08 06:58 AM
Maurice mix. Okay, this thing sets a real SEXY vibe. The Latin voice of a woman mixed with a Sueno Latino groove, but the harder NYC edge beat and bass. Real classic! A little dated. It was a classic at the Dutch great radio show called, For Those Who Like To Groove, hosted by mr Jaydee, Robin Albers.
Glen Scott - Heaven - 07-Apr-08 11:32 AM
Remember someday, remember let the music use you, remember all the classics, from way back. This one fits. But in my opinion not the 4 hero, but the balearic Joe Claussell mix. Thats the one for me. Strings, guitar, and heavenly vocals. Are we going to heaven. Or are we gonna lose. tadadadada. thanx Joe.
Larry Spinosa - The Guitar E.P. N. 2 - 03-Apr-08 09:21 AM
So good is one of the unknown David Mancuso favourites. Its based on a real mellow guitar riff. Think George Benson and a 90's sounding groove. But the thing is it really sets a vibe. And all of a sudden there are the vocals. Bernard Fowler from the Peech Boys. Great track. Thx for that David.
Delta Funktionen - Electromagnetic Radiation Part I - 03-Apr-08 02:35 AM
Supported by Francois K, Lawrence, Laurent Garnier! Twice high quality dark atmospheric techno deepness. Nebula is the more straight forward track, thick pounding rhythm and vibes make it ending up somewhere between Mills and Maurizio, raw straight techno. Estuary gives some deeper dubby vibes. Revived is the Delsin sub-label Ann Aimee! Once again outlet for the more experimental sides of Delsin's electronic music. After the superb fine release by James Kumo, another fine debut EP. This EP is done by Delta Funktionen, who goes in real life by the name of Niels Luinenburg. 23 years old, living in the northern part of Holland. He’s inspired by Maurizio, Basic Channel, Convextion, Carl Craig, Steve Rachmad, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, and others. The superb artwork is done by another Delta, namely Delta Inc. Press Quotes. Wow! This is killer stuff right here. Will be playing this for sure! Nebula is the standout, but the B-side could definitely work for Deep Space, Peace. Francois K.
Simply marvellous! Estuary is my fave a fuckin deep morning track. Lawrence.
Lovely deep techno tracks. Will definitely play. Very moody indeed. Thanks for that Laurent Garnier.
Nice Post Maurizio deep vibes. Love specialy Nebula, deep but powerful. Fabrice Lig.
Ann Aimee history goes back with 2 stunning track, without question is Nebula for the dance-floor! Estuary is more smoking tune and mor for your head, for chilling in a nutshell, very cool new release, very berlin inspired sounds and a good start from this classic label. Steffen Laschinski.
Nebula rocks, this makes my job a pleasure to play these tracks just to see the great reactions from the crowd when I play these kind of tracks. Lars Sandberg.
Some deep stuff here. Both tracks are nice. But Nebula is the one for me. Will definitely play in my sets. Rolando.
Classic Delsin material. I love this release a lot, intelligent music that is timeless as well. Terrence Dixon.
Luv this deep-ish techno. just like the good old days! Only one bad thing, would have needed this for my NYE gig! Mats Karlsson.
Nebula feels like an inverted Basic Channel thing. Respectfully flowing along, this is cool yet hot. Estuary is in that deep mode that seems to be the rage. Nebula is the one for me. Anthony Shakir.
Jean Parlette - Much Younger - 25-Mar-08 08:48 AM
Jean Parlette is a quartet from the North of Holland. Very soon they will take their sample-based Folktronica to a stage near you. Principle songwriter Jos Blomsma started the band in order to take his unique blend of home-made electronics and classical instruments on the road. Jean Parlette has been compared to acts such as Tunng and The Notwist, but the unusual line-up and the sometimes even more unusual way the instruments are played make Jean Parlette stand out as an intriguing live band. The electronic elements in their songs are complemented by Laurens van der Meulen’s shimmering rhodes parts, David van Egmond’s exquisite fingerpicking and Suze Steemers’ tastful cello. Jean Parlette likes to sing about the Big Topics of Life but leaves just the right gaps in his lyrics for the listener to fill. Jean Parlette is friendly yet curious… Almost instantly the band were proclaimed to be The new juwel from the north by the regional press (3voor12friesland) and the well-known Paradiso club in Amsterdam has booked the band.
