This was my first taste of :W: and what I like about it most is its originality at the time of its release. This was very different than what was coming out on label's like Cleo and even Metropolis itself. Great mastering on each track and this was the release where Rudy's vocals sound best, imo. Lots of hits on this disc but the one I can't stand is "War". It seems to be everyone's favorite but after a minute I find myself skipping it. Rudy shows off what he does best too. He'll give you a hardass track like War or Embryodead, and sadden you with Angel. Love it!

Definitely one his more sinisterly inclined releases that manages to sound dark as hell without resorting to an overly hard and dirty sound.
This is brilliant from the word go - it's got just the right balance of ambience - be it creepy or just tragic - in tracks like "Womb" and "Angel" (juvenile lyrics aside, "Womb" is a very disturbing track - being the hateful dialogue coming from an unborn) to stompy dance floor fillers like "Golgotha" and "Embryodead". This release also has the (possibly overplayed?) one and only "War" on it too.
Very few releases successfully meld aural extremes ranging from cacophonous noise to old fashioned wrist slitters (pardon the use of the expression - it seemed like the most appropriate) - and of course there's everything in the middle.
A brilliant release, and one that should probably have a cigarette packet warning of some sort attached to it too.

high quality industrial (with some dancy parts to it). this is definitely the darker side of the electronic music industry. lots of harsh vocals and killer music. my favourite track has to be "War", which is just insane.
