Mad tune on square vinyl,

I was mashed up when I heard this tune and it sounded weird as hell. The Dark, Dark sample is just crazy but sounds so good with the warped breaks. I purchased soon after I heard it nearly 15 years ago, a little gem.

Bloody hell! The DJ Hype Remix of 'Underworld' totally blows the original version out the water.

Starting off with Hype's trademark scratches and a vocal sample which evokes some kind of American tel-evangelist spouting off 'Dark! Dark! You go off someplace and it's dark!'. All this incorporated into itchy sounding breaks, ominous breakbeat free sections and a general sense of unease. Hype basically adds his stamp to 2 Bad Mice's original, minimal template and adds a entirely different experience as well as adding a touch of humour that he was reknowned for. One for enthusiasts of darkcore who appreciate a little bit of Sub Base tongue-in-cheekiness.
