Upbeat, dancefloor-friendly party mix from 2002 of different EDM styles, mainly electroclash, with a few trademark mash-ups and cover versions thrown in. 2 Many DJs' blends of Royksopp's "Eple" with Dolly Parton's "9 to 5", and Skee Lo's "I Wish" with The Breeders' "Cannonball" are particularly innovative. However, the mix loses originality points because some of the mashes (e.g., Salt 'N' Pepa vs. The Stooges) were already used on Part 1 of their DJ mix series.

I have this record and am up for selling below any of the current UK asking prices. Played once, get in touch if anyone is keen :)

I bought this out of HMV for like £20, why is it worth so much now?

Fantastic album, amazing pressing, guaranteed you will struggle to find a better mash up album. The vinyl labels are a metallic silver too, which is pretty cool.
Pity about the Kylie Minogue Remix being missed off it though

Great album by these Belgium dj's. The blends the beats of well known house and dance tracks with the melodies of pop songs of all ages and the other way around. Besides the continuous recognition when you listen this album, the fact that it's mixed instead of a track by track release give the album a certain flow. The album does have a few moments of weakness where the intensity is dropping a little but recovers from that quickly. Considering the style it's a suprisingly sustainable album which doens't starts to bore after you played it a few times.

A record that boosted the mash-up mix-style of old and new material and (sometimes their own) special rare remixes.
This vinyl release from RSD 2012 is in case of the celebration of the 10th anyversary of the mix. It was pressed in a quantity of 2000 units. 500 pieces were for the UK and 140 for The Netherlands. Don't know where the 1350 others went, a lot stayed in Belgium I guess.

Due to the poor quality of the artwork print of the cover and CD, it looks like this is a dodgy bootleg copy instead of a genuine PIAS release.

2 many djs are also known as The Fucking Dewaele Brothers. On their website: http://dewaeles.soulwax.com/
there's some interesting info about the new sleeve design!:
"Apparently, the photographer of the original photos (taken at some wild parties in the seventies) showed up, threatening to sue 2 Many DJ's for using his pictures."
I remember catching 2 Many DJ's at the Dour festival in Belgium last year. I was lucky enough to have backstage passes and I have to say, I've never seen so many crates of old LPs and 12"s...
Words are difficult to find to describe the atmosphere as the Brothers Dewaele cleverly bridged the gap between the main stage rock bands and the club tent DJs. I remember grinning from ear to ear as they dropped silly mix after silly mix (silly, yes, but somehow following a thread that made perfect sense in my mind - maybe I was smoking the same dope as they were!)
All manner of silly behaviour ensued: have you ever seen crowd surfing and stage diving during a DJ set?

Not a bad little mix, Pretty unique, sounds as if it has been mixed as a late night session on a pc. Technically not the best mix ever, but has some great tunes, and great smile factor
