Sounds like a more modern, danceable take on Burial's Untrue.

From DIY vaporwave tapes to releasing a professionally mastered 12" on a premier Warp Records sublabel. It has been inspiring to witness the groundswell of support for the 2814 project. Reminds me of the unprecedented sea change in music production that occurred following the releases of Burial's self-titled and "Untrue" albums. I am excited to see where this newfound recognition leads HKE and Telepath. Although I enjoy their lo-fi aesthetic as well, it is definitely really cool hearing finely mastered 2814 tunes like these.

magnificent ambient techno. sad its only 500 copies and most of them are owned by some discogs sharks who didnt even listen to the music, just bought the records to sell it later for a much higher price.

The music is wonderful, some of the best to come from 2814, What upsets me however is that such good music is only available on Vinyl.

The euphoria, when I add the EP to my cart. The absolute ecstasy, when I imagine picking it up at the post office. All while knowing I have no intention of opening the shrinkwrap. I am enveloped in joy when I think about selling it on discogs later for double what I paid for. Ahh, feels good to be a record collector.

It's really good. Forward-paced, foggy, and full. Really easy to listen to both tracks over and over.

holy shit, this record. what a release. I bought ONE copy and I knew it'd probably rocket in price but you know what? - I opened that fucker up and got it straight on the deck - played it and fell in love. this release instantly gives me burial vibes but I think this is right up there with some of burial's best work - if not better...

I love 2814 - their music takes me somewhere different. I was concerned when it sounded like a new direction but for no good reason. the new sound on this 12 is massive. the vibe we know 2814 for is still there but with these huge pounding beats underneath. it's still euphoric but it's driving. the mastering on this release is so good - so much space between everything, so clear.

jeez. it's THAT good.
