Up there with industrial hip hop classics like "Brotherhood of the bomb" by Techno Animal, 2nd Gen's music is an audio assault and extremely heavy blending the fine lines of industrial, breakbeat, hip hop and noise (it's interesting how he was also never asked to appear on digital hardcore recordings, as his sound would have been most welcome there). Kicking off with And_Or Wajid tears through 9 tracks of absolutely peerless production. Unlike his peers, there is plenty of experimentation with his music such as bringing in James Johnson to sing on Black Spring, which is a weird mix of bluesy-rock and industrial breakbeats. So in short if you are looking for something that'll blow your speakers and on occasion your mind, do pick this album up. you won't regret it.
