I am sure we used an 8-track tape recorder for this. Again all instruments were recorded live in one take with the vocals added later. But we had been together for three years now and it shows: the songs are rather well rehearsed and there are only a few notable mistakes on here. Would this have been properly recorded in a studio, it would have been a killer album. But Charlie´s guitar playing is just incredible and makes a big difference. You can clearly here bands that had influenced us, like The Sound or the Comsat Angels, but we also managed to add a touch that was clearly our own.
