Following on from FAC-IENDA's comment. Gerald was Manchester's answer to Derrick May. A tune that I will never fail to love. The original mix is the best. It sounds like the sun rising over Manchester on a summer's morning at the beginning, and just escalates from there with wicked samples and THE best acid-line ever. How did he come up with this???

This is one of THE most classic early house/acid house tracks ever produced, Legend has it Gerald simpson (A guy Called Gerald)Was a regular face at Manchesters HACIENDA and after he made the track he got it pressed on to vinyl and went to the HACIENDA with the copy he got pressed and handed it to the dj's, Gerald went off back to the dance floor hopeing they would like it and sure enough much to his delight a couple of tracks later the dj droped it in, the crowd was said to of gone crazy and it was to become an anthem.
