can someone tell me what to do with the printed side B? how do i get it to animate or do whatever it's supposed to do? i've looked at it with a bright light, a strobe, through my camera, it just looks like a spinning record.

First of all, the protective sleeve is pretty bad for the record, so it would be smart to resleeve it ASAP- but you might wanna keep the original sleeve as the sticker is pretty cool. Concerning the record itself, the tracks are both one one side in a double groove, so either The Doomed or Disillusioned will play depending on where you drop the needle- some people think this is gimmicky but I find it pretty neat. The pressing is quite good, my copy has great, deep, crisp sound with only minor surface noise being barely noticeable on very quiet portions of the tracks. The Doomed is the track on the innermost groove in the double-groove setup, and it seems to sound a tiny bit more compressed than Disillusioned, but nonetheless sounds awesome either way. The B-Side contains a screen printed phenakistoscope-like design, which if you shine a bright strobe (you can get one as an app on your phone), the printed octopus and runes are animated. This ones a bit of a gimmick but its kinda fun to check out a few times and the design is pretty cool anyway. Great tracks, probably some of my favorite from APC, and a solid pressing to boot!

Please remove the record from the shitty plastic bag as soon as you get it, these kinds of plastic bags are known to completely wreck vinyl records in less than a year of direct contact. I put mine in a folded mofi bag and put the sticker on that.

What about this screen-printed B-Side?
Is this supposed to be a zoetrope-animation kinda thing? It does not do anything special and i'm not shure if it should.
Or is it my shitty turntable ?

Cool tracks, shitty protective sleeve, gimmicky dual-groove, And is side 2 suppose to an attempt at a phenakistoscope? Eh. Doubt it’s super limited.
