Iron man 2 ac/dc c766158 / 888694661581

The cover is very nice the sleeve is beautiful and made of thick paper/plastic material vinyl is 180 gr.

The sound is awful,, totally dead there is no dynamic, i cant place the instruments, it"s boring to listen to.. i had a freind come over and take a listen.. we just stod there staring at the record player in disbelief.. put some of my other albums on Thin lizzy, back in black, bat out of hell and others.. and they sounded great..

There's an old joke that you only ever need to own one AC/DC track, nevermind an entire album. Personally I do see the band as a very one dimensional prospect but I have to say that this compilation is fantastic.

Like a best of pressed on 180gram vinyl by optimal Media Production, considering some of the awful pressings coming out of California at the moment, it was a joy to put this on and hear how a record is meant to sound. optimal Media Production usually do a great hjob and on this they've been true to their reputation.

Great dynamism, instrumentation sounds precise and well balanced. The sleeve is nice too, with a metallic foil effect paintjob and nice little bio inside the gatefold. Nice to see these old style Columbia labels too. I'm not a great AC/DC fan, the sound may be slightly too clean for some tastes but this is a fantastic pressing in my view - an example of why vinyl sound is held superior to digital, it's a shame some Czech and Californian plants can't take a leaf out of Optimal's book.
