Interesting fact: the only song not on the cd version (the short "conversation heard through a wall" track called .38) can be heard in the background of a song on Selected Ambient Works vol 2 (the song before Blue Calx I believe). It's at the very beginning of the track and is repeated a few times. Don't know why it took me so long to notice the 2 conversations were the SAME conversation...

This is the definitive version of this vinyl release, one of James' best lesser known albums. Classic Braindance.

Why is this in the albums section? It's an EP.

This is a decent album with plenty of scope. Some of it may be a little demanding for some listeners, and maybe some of it could develop a little more, but I like it.

If you connect up this artists sonic art then you probably have this brown bag vinyl ep.

Bought a copy new on release in brown paper bag with barcode sticker on back top centre (with REPH 008 above it, as per image) and A4 paper insert (without barcode). Later found a copy in a white paper bag without barcode sticker (but with original HMV price gun sticker suggesting it was supplied like this). No paper insert but am guessing the barcode was moved from bag to insert.

Don't know if anyone else has had this issue, but my copy is now warped as hell. It's the only vinyl release of mine that went all wobbly on me (not a huge collection at all, 40 maybe). Curious as to why no other vinyls did this, given their shared environment and conditions. Luckily I've the CD version as well, so all's not lost.

I'd be curious to know if anyone else's vinyls have suffered fates similar to mine.
