The 1st track is one of my favorite tracks under the AFX moniker. the other 2 are harsh noise. At least 90%~ of everyone who listened to them will say it's shit and probably made as a joke. I can totally see their point, but I actually kind of like those 2 noise tracks. Been listening to them every once in a while, maybe it's just my shit taste, but whatever, it's nice to me.

I've listened to both KTPAs on headphones a few times and have decided R was going for a sensory experience--not altogether pleasant--but if listed to before Side A, oh joy!

Lol, definitely as the time flies people start liking the noise tracks more and more. Now you don't see those pretentious cunts who can't accept noise just because it's noise. Go fuck yourself if you hate on it. And bless the originality. 100/100!!!

Richard is laughing at everyone! By all accounts this should easily be the most expensive record in his back catalog, just because nobody likes it. There are no hidden micro rhythms or biblical codes scrambled into the KTPA tracks, no higher intelligence waiting to be discovered- Its just an annoying record! To watch people try to decipher or justify it is pant wettingly funny. What an artist/businessman... Forget Freud- I always think of Richard D James as one of the worlds psychological mega- influences.

I'd almost believe this wasn't an AFX project if it weren't for the body of evidence that indicates otherwise. Very lackluster.

Compared with the general quality of AFX stuff, this is a real downer. The first track is trick jungle with ragga vocals, but it doesn't come anywhere near Laughable Butane Bob, Yellow Calx and other milestones. And it doesn't have any of the ancient AFX harmonies either. Tracks 2 and 3 are digital noise compositions or clicks and cuts, but without the pounding beat. In short, this is one of the very few AFX/Aphex Twin/Caustic Window releases that u can do without.

i think it's quite interesting how many people dismiss the latter two tracks on this disc. Aphex Twin's music is hardly restricted to dance idioms ~ SAW Vol.II & drukqs have demonstrated that all too clearly ~ & this is yet another example. To write off these tracks as "mere noise" is to fail utterly to appreciate a very different kind of music. It isn't data; it's music. Try to hear it...

I would just like to note that the b-side noise tracks on the CD version differ from those on the vinyl. I'm waiting for someone with a lot of time on their hands to analyze the 4 tracks and unlock the bonus Richard has hidden for us. The "bonus high-frequency sounds" from the previous Men Records release does indeed contain a SSTV picture, I've decoded it myself.

The track rips that's all there is to it. For all you out there who are against AFX creating noise, the two noise tracks are great. I bet he has millions of tracks like run the place red and side b on his hard disks. This is also why he doesn't bother releasing much. If he did all the producers would sound like AFX for awhile.

He did a show with Satanstornade recently.

This ep is brilliant. AFX is brilliant.
