Wow! I´m in absolute awe of how ASC consistently delivers the most compelling sonic adventures. His label has become one of my absolute favorites. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Techno music from the future, possibly still actual in 2045. Mr Clements still and always pushing the boundaries of electronic music. 5/5

With releasing as much music over such dense time frames the instinct to maximize variety of production makes rational sense, which ASC indeed pulls off quite successfully, but personally speaking my brain simply refuses to take in those increasingly complex time signatures with every new release (and this is coming from someone w/ Autechre LP artwork appropriated as a profile picture).

For the most part, the flow of stretching pads and backdrop ambiances dictate easy (or, at the very least, unsophisticated) listening, while the arrangement of percussive elements goes in the exact opposite direction, getting occasionally twisted into patterns so overlong and multi-dimensional one could be forgiven for forgetting to take a breath while trying to align with the rhythms.

In spite of that, dynamic energy of those rhythms allows to assert Realm Of The Infinite wants also to be dancefloor-functional, and if the aim is to bring originality to EDM the job is certainly well done, but it falls into the pitfall of being alienating as a result; using sounds that are well polished and feel good to take in but structured in a way that prevents their entry into consciousness from being a natural thing, instead making it something that needs to be concentrated on, metaphorically tasking the listener with doing push-ups with one hand and solving the Rubik's cube with the other–not impossible, but I'd rather be doing one thing at a time.
