ASC "The Waves" CD

Massively expansive celestial meridians are perpetually helixing above, while intangibly cadenced undercurrents keep on titillating along with translucently curlicue fragments. Subterraneanly tenebrous, yet organically comforting drone stratums free fall into breathtakingly enigmatic zones, where tenaciously engulfing sonorousness exquisitely collides with balmily yearning solitudes. Infinite hissy billows coalesce with warmly introspective tapestries, lachrymosely enveloping poignancy amalgamates with euphoniously resonant desolations and nebulously ephemeral reflections are permeated by shimmering cyber-biotic traceries. Fascinatingly hypogeal odyssey, as much ethereally magnificent as unfathomably warning...

66-minute "The Waves" CD is out on Silent Season since January 30th, 2019, packaged in a 4-panel recycled digifile with additional release card (photo credit goes to Apertism) and two label stickers, and limited to 500 hand numbered copies. Sold out for a longer time at Silent Season, so you might want to give a try with Discogs. UK's James Clements, based on the Southern California coastline, delivers here another spectacularly transporting sonic memento holding the genius signature "Made by ASC". As always, bravo, Maestro!!! I only wish ASC would focus in his prolific release schedule more on transcendently immersing driftscaping. Nevertheless, I keep an ear to the ground...

Really nice ambient but sounds too much like Biosphere, Shenzou and Substrata... :-/

How does he keep making these ambient masterpieces? Like you'd think by now, they'd be getting samey and mediocre, but no--in fact, they're getting better.

I have ordered 2 copies of this cd from the label directly, at separate intervals, and both times, the data side of the cd was scratched and smudgy. Has anyone had the same problem? Is Silent Season having quality control issues?

ASC is back on Silent Season with another superb album of beautiful, haunting and emotional ambient tracks. James Clements is a fine example of an artist on top form....does he ever sleep!? His musical output over the last few years is nothing short of astonishing and thats not to say quantity over quality as he is a buy on sight artist for me. His music is always stunningly beautiful and seriously well produced. Another flawless album from the ambient master ASC. 10/10

ASC returns to Silent Season with top quality ambient. The sound structures and programming in this album really draw me in and keep me listening. I've had this on repeat since it was released last week, highly recommended.
