Sam’s comment that this is the most loved Italian Piano tune is a perfect summary.
In 1990 and 1991 there was many a time I would be stood in Beat Street Records Bolton and a customer would bring in a cassette trying to track down what the tune was. In hope that they could buy a copy.
I’ve since learned that it appears the original DAT maybe lost.
Instinct told me to buy 2 original copies of this on Beat Club Records all those years ago. With hindsight a very wise investment!

Everybody knows the classic "?" Version but the "space" mix was a massive track also. Structured like a progressive trance track with its trippy, echoey synth, a much harder, ravier sound compared to "?". The piano takes almost a back seat as it relentlessly rolls through the track along with joplins vocals. For me though it's all about the "warm" chords & strings when heard on a decent sound system turn you to mush.

The Most Played and possibly most loved Italian Piano tune. The spine tingling vocals of the legendary Janis Joplin on top of great rolling piano riffs..When this tune kicked in the clubs went crazy... and they still do! First heard this at an Illegal Rave back in 1990 and it has been in my top 5 ever since.. An absolute timeless classic that ages well like a fine wine. You can keep the remixes for me.. yeah the UK Remix got some good play in 94/95 in the Northwest clubscene, but it has got to be the original. The tune that got me collecting Italian house, the reason i still collect it 20 years down the line... It is that relevent. In my opinion, the Greatest underground Piano House Tune of all time..

ASHA's legendary tribute to Janice Joplin...
One of the most well-known and well-loved Italian piano house classics in the UK house scene.
Magicly memorable! Piano-lines phenomenal!!!
No doubts, this masterpiece will go down in "house history", stand the test of time... and continue to be appreciated, loved and blasted into airwaves forever!

Struck an almighty harmonious chord on eveybody's RADAR when, at the time, there was so much happening in the splintereing world of dance music. This tune took centre stage in many a DJs set and it brought a glowing buzz of warmth to all those who loved to dance their pants off at the back end of 1990 and the front end of 1991. It kind of captured the gloomy/happy mood of the time. Huuge Quad tune for those who were there...
