Played by Dj Rolando in Berghain two weeks ago. I think to realize the whole beauty of this track you got to listen to it on a very good soundsystem. At home its just not the same..

Wow. 2000 and One's remix is an absolute stunner, and boy, has this guy done it all. It's hard to take in all his work, from some of the crazy tracks on 100% Pure and Intacto, to the deepest and dubbiest of sounds on my treasured Finite State EP on Styrax Leaves. When I heard Mike Huckaby drop this one in a mix I knew I had to track it down. Definitely on the tech-house side of things, but unlike most of the tracks in this genre that I've largely grown tired of (although perhaps I see a revival via gems like this), the Chicago Dirt Mix appeals to me with its equal blend of both parts techno and house. You've got the sick driving beat with that little clicky mid, which I must admit is very nice, but the true treat of this bomb is in the delicious chords that circumnavigate the aforementioned constant and perfect beat. True house pleasure and warmth meets fat bass that will make everyone nuts. I love it!
