I originally bought both Acid Bath albums on CD during the 90s but lost my copies over the years. When I went to rebuy them I found that the remastered versions were way too compressed for my taste. Although it is a hassle to track down the original discs, it's well worth it, especially for this album. The original CD is almost twice as dynamic as the remaster. Unfortunately you'll need photos of the actual disc when you buy, because some copies that don't say they are remastered on the back cover art contain a remastered disc inside. The original disc is black with the goat picture. The remastered disc has a shrunken picture of the front cover art.

I doubt this sounds any better. Unless they dug up the masters it’s prob just some more digital garbage.

Sound quality is great guys for those asking about this pressing. Sounds nice and loud but not too loud like a real record.

I've had this vinyl since it dropped. Popped it on the other day and forgot why I never listen to it. Sounds like 128 bit mp3's pressed onto wax kept in an open box in a warehouse in China. Just a garbage pressing. Doesn't surprise me coming from Rotten Records though. They're true to their name. Sell the rights and let a reputable company press these golden sludge tracks.

Can anyone who owns this please comment on the sound quality, I had the 2010 press and sold that piece of garbage after the first spin because it sounded so bad.

The vinyl sound is really bad. Strange distortions all the way through, I guess they really fucked up the remastering or something.
