As said below, the lead is basically like a Source Direct homage/edit (although feels very short, unlike the classic SD stuff which knew there was more to explore over time); and the second tune is doing a bit of a 'Headz thing - tho again sounds like it's just ready to go somewhere else when it abruptly ends.

Flip is less self-consciously backwards looking than Acid Lab's tunes, but for my money also less interesting, tho Symbols teases the breaks in well and brings a bit more energy after the breakdown.

Decent enough tunes all round tho, and Repertoire continue to impress with consistency

Big bad nasty & dark 2019 shiz and it's straight to the b side on this one for me. a side is v good mind, a1 sounding like a wicked homage to Source Direct n a2 sounding like a nice heavy headz style track, really high quality production on both but its Blackout & Symbols that have smashed it out the park pushing the sound head first into 2019, Blackout is disgusting i love it, think Kryptic minds meets Amar, it has a dubbed out dirty dark spaced feel to it & doesn't sound like its from the 90s ! its a beast. Ahmad & Artilect's Symbols is seriously bad too, the amen drop with the metallic machine gun snares, oh Gosh is all i can say.
