A: Techno (Vocal). This may be the funkiest Techno track i own and will attract anyone with a house sensibility, sure it even has a vocal. The funky synth loop is introduced early as are a few of the vocal samples. The actual baseline oozes funk and the vocal samples are effected Kraftwerk stylee. The double breakdown uses the vocal extensively, firstly effected then secondly in it's full glory. The second half of the track puts all the elements and the full vocal in and is simply outstanding. The moment after the breakdown has that standing in the presence of brilliance feels. It fully deserves it....[PLATENUM]
B1: House. Spends the majority treading a very narrow line between cool electro and uber-dance. The vocal can sound dark and menacing but theres bouncy quality to the bass drum thats cringey the synths don't know what they're trying to achieve either. Tonally it's in crisis most obviously in the really rather brilliant last 1/4 which is proper dark electro. Ultimately whatever camp you're in you'll have trouble dealing with the opposite element. But then in fairness the original isn't always sure what it is either. [SEVEN]
B2: House. Like the remix above there are moments when this is a pretty strong growling electro/techno track and as the synths soar you're thinking this is going to be great, but that bounciness to the bass drum is all a bit uber and for me unpleasant. [SEVEN]
