The Sea gives, and it takes.
The Sea is like a brainwave,
it flows, it comes and goes.
You never know, what it will bring,
and yet, it's so predictable.
Ships, fish, birds and all sorts of
creatures, come here together, to
feast upon eachother.
Big or small, to the Sea, it makes
no difference, it manipulates them
These aspects of the Sea, have always
intriged me: I tried to the figure
out the main patern in all the chaos,
between all the living things in it.
The more I thought about it, the more
wondered, if I could capture it in
some sort of a musical form, combining
the calmness with the ruffness of the
For this album, I've worked with a combination
of nature sounds and manipulated, stretched
Throughout the three pieces, I tried to
captured several aspects of the Sea, from
calm to ruff and back.
"The Sea (Part I-III)" was composed, recorded and
mixed, between october 25 and 26, by Adeptus
Mechanicus, at the Oblivion Hole Sound Lab.
