The way I would have arranged the sequence of tracks!

Come On Let's Jam- Party style acid house...Okay but not aged well in my opinion..
O-O-O- A real jacking House tune..The beats are fast and simple but driving!
Track This- Wow acid with a psychedelic feel to it.. Derrick May at the controls on probably one of his toughest sounding tunes ever? Samples Fadela - N'sel Fik for the We are eee eeeeeee (Great sample even if it doesn't actually say that but still it's completely apt!)
Ecstasy (Wherever You May Be)- Hard tough acid that really works the box (the TB 303).. Warped vocals (I just thought??)... Plus a soothing vocal asking us can we Phantasize?... Also the other vocal gives us a run down on all the top acid house clubs to rave it up to Spectrum Shoom Future Halciem Trance Feel Surreal Hedonism Joy Pyramid Trip Delirium Hacienda Love ... Wish I had gone to some of them but stuck to going to the other parties in and around Buckinghamshire..

Chris Forbes used to rinse this ep quite a lot on his radio show (Was it Capitol or London Weekend Radio??) and also championed quite a lot of early UK acid house back then..

Thoroughly excellent ep!

Buy!

Why this record is selling for so low STILL is beyond me. Could be the summer of love infused cover art with its fairly densely layered and busily bold Pagemaker look. Get past that design overload and look at the production notes.
You get Derrick May, Heychild, and Jagz Kooner holed up with Richie Fermie in a nice studio with the intent on making proper drug fits the face psychedelic acid house. Truly an overlooked gem that deserves playtime.

Superb early UK acid house, one of my favourites back in '88, still a favourite now.

For the sample spotters: "Track This" uses a vocal sample which predates Lenny De Ice's "We Are I.e" by at least a couple of years, and even managed to beat Coldcut to it as well!

The sample works pretty well here as well, but was probably used to even better effect on "We Are I.e".

I'm going to do an "old skool acid mix" soon, and at least one tune off here will be on it. I could easily use all four :)

'Ecstasy' and 'Track This' are absolute acid house masterpieces- from the heart of Detroit no less. Hard thumping tracks that serve as my personal standards for what acid house should be. Can't beat the psychedelic cover design either. You must own this!!
