I am not the biggest fan of Westbam's music but Agharta has something very hypnotic that keeps me coming back to it after all those years.

At its core this is a minimalistic slow electo beat with a mystic main melody in the background. Afrika Bambaataa raps occasionally over this electro beat. Just like the MC's in the early 90s used to do it.

For me the best version is Dr. Rhythm's Higher State Of Trommelwirbel Mix. It emphasizes the hypnotic elements of the main melody, uses a distored Bambaataa voice and has a faster and more prominent beat.

Both mixes (Original and Dr. Rhythm) feel completely out of it time. The were produced 1999 but they sound like 92 or 93.
