Excellent EP by Agaric!
I've been seriously into techno for 15 years and have been dj'ing it mainly at psychedelic parties in the forest for a bunch of years too. I'm extremely picky with the music I share with the dancers, it has to have the organic and spacious quality that works well for a barefeet dance session under the stars. Honestly there aren't many techno producers who share this vision. Although many like to romanticise the idea and work with this theme the truth is most of them are a bunch of suburban kids in sneakers who would feel awkward in the woods with the hippies.
I've been following Agaric for many years now and often play his music. He's a big inspiration for me and is arguably the most underrated techno producer out there. His music strikes the perfect balance of body-mind-spirit and spans over an infinite field of influences - past, present and future. Production-wise he's flawless. What else can I say?

This EP is one of those rare transcendental gifts to the nature loving ravers like me. I could listen to the B-side on repeat for the rest of 2018 without getting tired. This might seem to be a silly detail, but the fact that Patrik had the courage to create a beautiful, dramatic intro on "Atacama", completely independent of loops intended for beatmatching, is so refreshing for me. The whole song really is a journey made to be listened to as a whole, which more or less never occurs among techno- or house producers. A little techno epos you could say, that really transports me to a night far out in the Atacama deserts, beneath an endless sea of stars. Perhaps a couple of cups of sacred Huachuma brew has been shared with the dancers on that night. Really, there is a sense of sacred with this track, a feeling of endlessness, but also hope and warmth. Yet far from cheese-clichées. As always with Agaric, this is authentic, heart based and very danceable. Tack Patrik för denna skönhet! Jag längtar tills jag får dela den med mitt folk!

Altiplano is one of the best songs of this year. Also this EP has 3 grooved techno tracks. Thanks for this ep.
